Along its hundreds of kilometers of coast, Eastern Spain holds some of the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean. Its calm and fresh waters and the magnificent Mediterranean views are a delight for those looking for a relaxing stay at the beach.

The Costa Brava in Northern Catalonia is rocky and interrupted by towering cliffs and rich vegetation that falls over the sea. The coast is dotted with towns and small villages all along the way between Blanes and the French border, which well worth a visit any time of the year since average temperatures in the region are around 16°C and the region provides modern tourist infraestructure. Places like S’Agaró, Tossa de Mar, L'Estartit, Figueres, Roses, Begur, Cadaques and Portlligat are only a few of the jewels to be discovered in the Costa Brava.

Costa Dorada is the popular name by which the coastline of Southern Catalonia is known and it must be said that the region honors its name with its beautiful beaches of golden sands. Its waters are quiet and not very deep in the majority of the beaches, so it is one of the favorite destinations for family vacations receiving an average of 3,500,000 visitors per year.  Its waters are ideal for the practice of water sports such as wind surf or water skiing offered at the varied sport ports along the coast. The Costa Dorada has a strong fishing tradition, therefore its gastronomy is a not to miss experience.

All along the Valencian coast beautiful beaches of calm waters and cliffs of spectacular view provide a magnificent scenario for the best beach vacations. The city of Valencia itself has numerous beaches that worth a visit only minutes away from the city center. Along the province of Alicante lies the famous Costa Blanca which is one of the favorite summer destinations among Spaniards and foreign visitors who are used to vacation in Spain. This portion of the coast is dotted with beaches of golden sands and clear waters. From very popular towns with modern buildings and infrastructure (such as Gandía, Benidorm, Alicante and Denia) to fishing villages (El Campello, Jávea, Moraira, Benissa, Calpe, Altea, Villajoyosa) and hidden corners of difficult access, either if you go on a family holiday or looking for extreme sports, there is a seaside for each taste in the Valencian Coast.
